    Hi,

I'm seriously thinking of getting the S560 (vs the W3V) but the decision will most likely end on the performance for Internet Content Creation, I was wondering if anyone had any benchmarks for the Sony Vaio S560 since I could not find them (except a 3dmark05 score). I would like to compare to my current old desktop machine to have a "feel" of the performance.

The S560 is the preconfigured model for the S580 available in Canada.

If anyone can post their PCMark04/05, 3DMark03 and Super Pi scores for the Sony S560, it will be greatly appreciated.
Oh yeah, if you did any modifications to the base system (eg: more ram), please say so.

    Thank you!

I have an S560 and I upgrade the memory with a 1GB Transcend memory.
I have recently downloaded the 3dmark05, but haven't installed it yet. but with superpi, it's 1m 41s for 2M digits. Although for some reason it reached 1m 37s, but I could never replicate it anymore.
    I'll post the 3dmark05 later.
Oh I also undervolt the cpu to 1.084V for the maximum load.

    Thank you Valkyrie,

Do you have PCMark as well? Since my main intend is not gaming (occasional).

1m 37-42s? This is sick on a notebook of this size!!
I tried on my P4-1.8 GHz, got about 3 minutes and a half. On my other P4-3.0 GHz, I got 1m 51s.

Thanks again for doing the benchmarks!
