There were some complaints about posting SB/SC/SD Series questions and comments in the SA thread so the obvious fix is a new thread all for the SB/SC/SD Series of Sony VAIO Laptops.

Enjoy and try and keep the comments on topic! ;)

    :D

So, anyone know if mini-pci-e SDD would work on this? It would be great to run the OS off of one, and then have 2 HDD for storage. Laptop with over 1.5TB of storage!

I know a lot of people, including me, were looking for some good pictures of the White SB.

If anyone has already received theirs please post up some pictures!

    Thanks!

There does look to be an extra mini-pcie slot for the WWAN card, at least in the preproduction models. I'm not sure if it made it to the production models, maybe someone who already has theirs can confirm?

However, I believe it is a half-height m-pcie unfortunately, so there might not be a way to fit an SSD in there...

Here are some pics of the White SB that were already out there:

They are not that great though, so hopefully someone can post up some more.

When a new laptop ships discussion threads in the main forum are closed. People can open specific support threads or post in the owner related threads. That is what they serve as. Owner threads are for prospective owners and owners.

When the SA starts shipping or is released the SA discussion thread will be closed. It's being used to post about all the next gen S series laptops and that's inveitable but as the SB/SC/SD has started shipping it doesn't need to have a discussion thread in the main forums.
