    Hello,

I have a SR19XN with the integrated Intel Wifi Link 5100 Card.

My Router is a AVM Fritz Box Fon Wlan 7270.

Ok all fine till now ;)

    But now:

Vista only shows me max. 54-58mbit/s speed of the wlan connection.

But it should be 300mbit/s or atleast more than I get.

What am I doing wrong or what should I do/try ?

    Thanks for help

Someone with more knowledge in the area can chime in, but the 300 Mbs is theoretical speed I believe. Actual speed is going to be much less and a lot of factors (interference from phones and other base stations, walls, quality of base station, etc.) can affect the actual speed.

yeah but I forgot to write that my friend has a CR laptop and the Wireless Wifi 4965.
Vista says for him that he is connected with 130MB/s.

If my 5100 would do that too it would be enough.

But I can't even go outside (20m MAX) withouth having 1-2MB/s only and can't really surf the web.
