Hi, I have a sony vaio sr and I am looking forward in purchasing and upgrading my HD this holiday season... basically what I want is performance/low noise. I want THE FASTEST performance more than lower noise. So what is the best HD for the speed on a sony vaio sr that I can purchase? (I just need more than 120gb space and not extremely loud HD).

according to Tom's hardware
I think the Seagate Momentus 7200.3 is the fastest 2.5" hdd on the market right now

It uses less power than other 7200rpm HDDs too -
is that the 320gb drive?
But when I upgrade, how will it affect that G-sensor HD shock protection thing thats included in the sony vaior sr? -
yeah it is

If budget is not a problem, why not switch to latest SSD hard drives ?
