    Guys,

    I own a Sony Vaio SVS151190X laptop.
The brightness of the screen automatically changes or rather it keep 'twitching' . This only happens on the 'stamina' mode and only when the laptop is idle.

So i figured this could be because of the various power plans. So i did all this -
    1. switched off the automatic brightness on the sony control panel
    2. switched off the automatic brightness, a windows 8 feature, on various power plans
    3. finally, i tried resetting the power plans, thinking i might have messed something up.
But nothing helped, the issue continues.

Any takes? All software/drivers are up to date for windows 8 including the bios update.

    Thanks!

There's also an auto-brightness setting in the Intel graphics control panel.

Check the power saving settings in the Intel graphics control panel.
