Anyone out there know of any way to get the
Sony Ericsson VDC EDGE EGPS (WWAN) to work on Vista?

Smart Wi doesn't seem to work
and wireless switching doesn't have the WWAN option.

    also.

does anyone know if free WIFI with Tmobile includes free EDGE access?

You need to install one of two applications
Sony Ericsson Wireless Manager, Version 3.4.1.1518
    Cingular Communication Manager Connectivity Software
The second one is the newer version of your original WWAN software.

TMobile has their own 3G offering outside of EDGE.

Tmobile seems to have a $49.99 plan which gives you free EDGE and free HotSpot (wifi) access...I'm planning on trying it out after the free HotSpot for Vista expires end of May.

I installed the SonyEricsson software but how do you turn on the WWAN so it can install drivers, etc.

Everytime I launch Wireless Manager it says I must have a Sony Ericsson card installed, etc.

Any ideas? Device Manager doesn't have it listed or any unknown devices.
