I have been waiting to get a 160 from Sony and now it is not on their site. I see that someone says that 170 will replace it. I don't want to spend the $$ for 170 since I already have a verizon card that I can move between 2 laptops and don't want to pay for another monthly fee anyway. I wanted to buy from Sony since only place you can return without restocking fee, and with all the issues on this site I am nervous. Any thoughts?
    thx

I wanted the one that is lighter and slimmer. Are you saying that you can't add vista to 160 or 170? Does anyone know what the price will be on the 170?
    thx

no, just to save money... Maybe u should get a japanese premium model... you can try to put your zip in the compusa site and see if u can get it. 18 months no interest...
