Hi - If anyone on here could give me some advice on how to get the bluetooth working on my sony sz360 laptop, it would be much appreciated.
I got this laptop used and did a clean install - everything is working perfectly - but I haven't tried the bluetooth until now. In the device manager the toshiba BT hardware said it was working properly. I tried to download this widcomm program and modified drivers based on recommendations here using the instructions in this thread:
http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=43865
After doing that, I turned on the BT function using the Wireless Device Switch. The bluetooth icon showed up in my programs, desktop and task bar, but on the task bar the white part of the logo is red and does nothing when I click on it. I tried uninstalling the widcomm and downloading the toshiba drivers and the same thing happens. i tried turning on a bluetooth device and putting it in pairing mode and still nothing.
Any ideas??? Thank you!

Try updating your drivers ( or find others), if the issue persists. I hope your internal card isnt bad. If your hardware switch is on, then it shouldnt be a red icon is the system tray....
Try rolling back your drivers and see if it works btw. -
do u have blue light on? (BT indicator on your keyboard.)
