Does the Sony Vaio SZ docking station VGP-PRSZ1 have audio output?

If not, how do you hook up your speakers? Through the laptop headphone connector?

    hi stevierg,

no, the docking station doesn't have an audio output. I use the headphone connector.

Bugger, was going to buy some Bose speakers (not the usb $400 ones, lol) Guess I'll go with those Logitech Z-10 usb speakers.

Have you guys been able to use dual monitors with this dockingstation?

Like using 2 monitors with a Y splitter connected to either the DVI or VGA port?

    thanks

I've used it with dual monitors on one of those matrox splitters... but it was only vga. I read that VGA on this dock supports higher res than dvi. I had the monitors side by side at 1280x1024 and there was only a small strip on the far left and right that the computer couldn't handle.

I hook my speakers up through a Sondigo Sirocco.
    Wireless is a bonus.
