I have SZ28GP for almost a year and just few days ago it started to make noise which i assumed coming from the fan. I've almost never turn it off for a month. So i tried to clean the fan and the air filter but the noise is still there. Is there any other solution to this noise?

I've tried to lower the revolution of the fan by using the S2 shortcut button, it worked but only for a while. help please.. I dont have any plan to replace my notebook yet..

    Thanks!!!
    Cheers

I had a horrible fan noise on my Vaio A series (couple years old). I oppened the case, cleaned all the dust out, pressed and manually moved the fans around to make sure they were not damaged and then put everything back together.
Fan noise stopped and hasn't come back 4 months later.
