Okay, my laptop is not charging from the AC even when it is plugged in and is draining the batteries. As well, the battery seem to drain even in hibernation mode. I have had this problem twice and it has been fixed by sony under warranty. However, the warranty will expire in October and I don't know what I'll do when that happens. I certainly do not have the money to keep fixing this nor to buy another notebook.

Do you think I can complain to Sony about this and do yo guys think they would do anything about it (though I doubt, sony has terrible customer service)?

Anyone knows anything about this, or know how to deal with customer service?

What is the model of your laptop? Is it an SZ1XXX-SZ7XXX etc.
I would call them and be firm and let them know that their previous attempts has not fixed your problem. Ask for a new motherboard. May be that is what they did before but it wouldn't hurt to request a new one.

How is the power input constructed, on my fe21s (its old but its a sony) there is a metal power strip on the lower input, and i had to pull it out so that it connected properly to recieve power.

I have a SZ320CP. I went to the Sony service center and firmly told them it was the third time.
