    Just got my sz 250p and I love it, question though; what if any of the bloat should I keep? WinDVD and roxio is fine I guess but what about the other stuff? also whats the best way to protect it on the move? any good sleeve /bag advice?

    I began a similar topic. No one is going to answer you.
    Downloading Nero Ultra will cover all your needs.
    I kept the Sony Products, though, and Quicken and Turbotax (for fun, I guess?)
    Obviously, purge AOL, Works, and Office from your system, and other crap, like Symantec and Trendmicro, and install superior counterparts.

    Personally I'd recommend that you make your backup CDs/DVDs. Then delete the recovery partition and do a basic (limited) system restore that does not restore every single application. (Up to you if you want to keep the recovery partition)

    The other thread on this forum tells about how to do a limited system restore in which not all the applications are restored. This would also allow you to choose which applications you wish to or wish not to restore.

    As for case, there are at least two that I can think of that are nice. The first one being the official Sony Neoprene casing. Another would be the case by Waterfield, its custom made with neoprene on the inside and they have different options on how to have it made.
