    Sony SZ stamina?

    Can someone please exlain why the two video cards, and how doo you switch? What does stamina Vs speed mean?

    The two video cards are switched using the hardware switch on the sz. In speed mode the 7/8 geforce go is active, otherwise in stamina the intel graphic chip. A reboot is necessary for switching the modes.

    You can switch between integrated x3100 and the 8400m gs. This is battery power vs a little gaming power. You switch between these 2 by moving a simple switch back and forth. Swapping between these 2 always needs a restart of the laptop.

    power settings can be set for each mode as well increasing the battery usage difference between stamina and power.
