Although I haven't used it yet, it certainly seems to have bluetooth -- the blue light goes on above the symbol when it's booting up, and then turns itself off again. There's a set of tools/programs available in the programs list for controling bluetooth, as well. On at least one occasion, meddling with the LAN settings resulted in the bluetooth symbol in the system tray.

Thanks, but no worries about getting it to run, just wanted to know if it has it, and it does :D .

Both stores I've been to (compUSA and BestBuy) said that the SZ120P/B doesn't come with BT.
Which I found wierd cause there's a logo LED indicator at the bottom of the screen, there are bluetooth utilities installed (toshiba bluetooth stack).
However it doesn't appear in the Hardware Manager (though it does have BT serial ports listed).

However when I go into the bluetooth utility and I click on the "New connection" button, I get the error: "bluetooth is not ready"
When I go into "Options", I see Radio is Disabled, and I can't unable it and device address are all "00:00:00:00".

I called Sony tech support who confirmed that it has bluetooth, now I just need to find a way to enable the **** thing...

Once I know if it definitely has bluetooth , I need to choose between the black model and the brushed metal one... I prefer the black, but those colors always start wearing off after a few months :(

Have you enabled it in the LAN setting utility? I seem to remember that it was turned off on mine originally, and that I got a warning when switching it on that it might conflict with WiFi.

I have the 120 and it has bluetooth, or it does a reasonable fascimile thereof in using my bluetooth mouse and my bluetooth phone and my bluetooth pda :D

Just switch it on with the switcher (it doesn't seem to interfere with my b/g wlan, which is good news) and have at it :)

ALL of the sz series have bluetooth build in. You can get it on customized models when you select the camera option.

    Thanks for the answer.

I tried another store today and they didn't have the SZ120 but the SZ110P instead and .... the SZ160.

    Gosh it looked nice.

    I couldn't help :)

What type of bluetooth mouse are you using? I tried a Targus and was not able to get it to work. I have a SZ120. Thanks.
