    Hi all,

I recently purchased a Sony Vaio SZ230P and did the semi-restore found in this thread: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=44587

For some odd reason, I am unable to use my WLAN. I have the Intel Proset drivers installed and I even updated my drivers from the Intel site.

When I turn on my computer, the WLAN and the Bluetooth LEDS are both filled with color. Once Windows (XP Home Edition) loads, the green WLAN light suddenly turns off. However right away I can click on the item in the taskbar and see the wireless networks available (I let Windows manage my wireless connection in lieu of the Intel software). But this lasts only a brief second and then all of the wireless signals disappear.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?!?!?!

    Thanks in advance!
    Scott
