This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I just did this upgrade, and the new card shows up in the device manager. However, the card doesnt seem to work at all. Its like the 'hard switch' for wifi has been turned off (except its turned on).

    I just installed the Intel connection software, with the same result.

    Any ideas whats going on here?

    Fixed - disable the Sony wireless utility (I renamed it in the Sony folder).
