    Hi All

I have got a new Sony SZ6 and I need to restore it back to its original state.

I did not make the recovery disks, but I did have a ghost image of the system, so I have put the back on and it has now got the two partitions. The normal OS Partition and the Recovery Partition.

But the problem is the system now doesnt boot. It gets as far as loading MS Vista then comes up with a message saying install was not complete and to reboot and try again.

I can access the recovery partition but how can I restore the .sny files that are clearly the image files onto the laptop?

    Any help greatly appreciated.

If you press F10 during the initial BIOS boot screen, you can do a full restore from there - that'll wipe the entire C: drive and give you the initial factory image.
