I didn't think video out capability was important when I bought it but now I have found times I wish it was an option. Anyone find an affordable solution for a VGA to ? converter that works with the SZ?

    One way ..
If you use the SZ docking station, you can connect the DVI port to your TV HDMI port using DVI to HDMI cable. It just wont carry sound, so you need to connect your audio out to your AV receiver / TV Audio in. With DVI to HDMI connection for Video, it gives you digital output without any conversion to analog in the middle.

    Another way ..
Use the VGA to S-Video cable converter .. you can easily find @ Ebay for cheaper price .. have not tried the quality for this though .. there may be some quality degradation due to converted to analog.

VGA is analog to start with. S-Video will give SD resolutions only.

Converting VGA to HDMI/Component requires a converter box.
