    Hey all,

Just wondering what kind of hard drives everyone in the community has upgraded their SZ650s with. I am looking around the market so any links to suggestions would be appreciated!

Also, I am not sure but what are the required specs for the sz650 in terms of hard drives? Whats compatible?

    Thanks!

I did 200GB 7200rpm - works great althought I do not notice that much difference. I also upgraded RAM to 4GB.

Does the BIOS in your SZ recognize full 4 GB?

Any noticeable shorter battery life than before? Is it quieter than stock or anything? What brand was it?

    Thanks for everyone's reply!

Bios does not recognize full 4GB, no noticable difference in battery life, no perciptable noise difference. It is a hitachi 200GB 7200 rpm.

I started looking around for and I saw Sata150 and sata 3.0gb/s, which one does the sz650 support and which one should I look at?

    Thanks

sata 2 would use sata 300 but the sata 2 hd is backwards compatible. regardless it'll work
