Where can I purchase an extra battery? I am looking at the regular or extended. I have a SZ360 extended battery and it doesnt fit. I guess for the SZ6 series they are different. I've looked at Sonys website and its not listed. Any help appreciated.

I have been able to order a extended battery for the SZ670 from the Sony Website it is model VGP-BPL9. I was not able to find it but got the number from the Sony Cstomer Service.

Does anyone own a SZ6 series model with an extended battery? I am interested in seeing pictures of it to see how it looks...and would like to hear feedback on how it affects weight and battery life vs a standard battery.

Just got the VGP-BPL9 from Provantage for about $190. It is about 40% heavier than the VGP-BPS9 (standard battery - has 3 more cells). I get 5+ hours on SZ650 in stamina on XP, 7 hours plus with the large cap battery. Current picture shows silver, but as long as description says black, the battery matches the black standard battery.
It is a little bulky, but 12+ hours runtime with 2 batterys and wireless networking on makes up up for it.

Provantage discounts the Sony Vaio extended onsite warranty too.

I don't work for them, but after a couple orders with them, I'm a satisfied customer.
