Hi, finally, I am getting my SZ670 tomorrow (the item has been shipped out one hour ago, and will be here probably tomorrow). Here are some questions I would like to ask, and would like to have your valuable suggestions.

1), could someone please point me to where I can find a complete instruction for clean or semi-clean install VISTA and all sony drivers (including Fn keys, webcam, fingerprint....)? I mean, has anyone tried the old procedure on a sony SZ6 series laptop?

2), What are the accessories you would recommend for this fancy computer?

My previous laptop is also from sony. It is a X505/CP model I purchased from Dynamism.com (a Japanese carbon fiber version with CPU at 1.1GHz, different from the US model). It is still the thinnest and lightest laptop even after 3-4 years passed. But 1.1GHz and 20G harddisk are obviously not enough nowadays. A sony SZ is the only thing I would like to have to replace my old, but still fancy X505. I really hope it is a nice one.

Thanks in advance for any inputs.

For the semi-clean install, IIIaman did a great job. You can check it out here:

Concerning the clean install, I'm afraid there's no complete instructions, although you can find some hints elsewhere in this forum.

About the accessories, I bought a VAIO sleeve which seems very nice to me.

I ordered my sz691 through P1 so I hope to get the clean DVD to reinstall Vista without the bloatware.

P1 offered a free Sony neoprene notebook sleeve with the order.

I also ordered a docking station and a Sony bluetooth laser mouse (VGP-BMS33) in black.
