    Sony SZ691N/x or Sz750N?

    In amazon
    SZ691N/x and SZ750N is only $100 difference,
    but SZ691N/x has a better speed in term of CPU, but older C2D.
    Is Sz7 series really worth more than the older counter part?

    Other spec looks the same, Graphic, case, HD (50G difference), Vista etc...

    Another difference is the casing - the 691 has the premium carbon fiber(you can actually see the weave) although both have carbon fiber lids, it's just in the 691 you can actually see it.

    beside that premium carbon.
    In term of performance, will you notice difference between the new Penryn cpu vs older C2D, or just a marketing...

    Hey I was in the same situation as you. But I decided to opt for the SZ691 instead of the seven series. I saved money and in my opinion it looks great :D. <3 carbon fiber weave. I just received it yesterday and I can't seem to get off it.
