I ordered mine earlier today and just thought I would mention this in case everyone doesn't check out the Sony SZ780 availability thread. If you order it now over the phone you can probably get $100 off like I did. The rep said he had a $100 off coupon that he would use on my order if I placed it over the phone. I've never bought a VAIO in the past due to the cost, especially through SonyStyle, but $1441 for the base config seems like a pretty good deal for this model.

I didn't upgrade the warranty no so I guess it just has the standard 1 year warranty.

And sadly, the BST fellow has run out of his 3 year extended warranties...

Wow...this is so much better than the one I ordered 6 months ago. Use the sony card and you cn probably subtract another 200 bucks off that base price.

you know you can get the 3 year accidental and onsite for about $60

you need to add the warranty and 2 accessories and you get 300 off (so basically it costs the cost of 2 accessories)

How exactly would you work that out to your favor? All the Sony accessories I see are overpriced.

Geez well this really bites me in the ass. $1500 for a premium SZ? I need to sell my premium 460N next month and was hoping to get $1100 for it. Gotta find an ebay sucker now.
