Is there really no Sony Style store in LA right now? I know my relative that works for Sony at the backlot has a employee only store over there. You'd think they'd have a consumer one somewhere too.

And I've always thought you go to Cal up in Berkeley.

Oh i guess i should've been more specific. There are sony style stores which are more geared towards retail as opposed to this one which is more like an Apple store or the Nokia stores which show off their tech.

I do go to Cal, but i'm from LA

    Ah gotcha on both fronts.

Sort of on a related note, does Sony not make projectors any more? Their Qualia $30,000 projector from 2005 was pretty cool. A feature of note was the LCD screen on the lid which said "Sony" as you turned it on. hehe I love gimmick features like that.

The Pearl projectors and the VW100 and VW200 projectors from a few years ago were really nice. I wonder what ever happened to their projector line...

Edit: I see some projectors on Sony's Business website, but nothing on their consumer side.

Dude, they had a absoutely monster sized one in SF. Then they shut it down. It's strange that in SF they don't have one.

I know you're joking but... No, if you remove the screw they think you tampered with it. Remember that post from two days ago? They denied warranty service to that one guy because a screw was missing. (he did tinker around with it and lost the screw in the process)
