I am trying the order the Sony Vaio FW 490 CTO at Sony Style. When ever I try to place the order a little window comes up saying processing order. But it stays like that for about 3-4 minutes and then the page goes white. I have tried three times. Two times using Google Chrome and one time using Firefox. Any one know what I should do?

Their ordering system could be down or something. I suggest that you call them up during their office hours to place your order. Good luck.

You could also email [email protected] and report the problem -- although, if they're doing their "homework" at Sony, someone's reading your posting at this forum ;-).
Sony Style recently redesigned their notoriously slow Website, so there might be a few bugs left in it still.... -
Well the computer was in stock last night with a shipping date of 8/12. Now this morning when the order went through it is out of stock with a shipping date of 8/18. So now I am kinda mad.

Lesson from this for all: When something goes wrong with the Website, get on the phone and CALL. Waiting for the Website to function correctly is dangerous, especially with an Outlet item (which this situation was not, but I mention this anyway because it's relevant).
SonyStyle orders are handled in two ways: on the Web and on the phone. Phone orders give the rep you speak with a commission; s/he therefore has an interest in making sure your order goes through! That person doesn't want you to hang up without a processed order....
Better luck next time -- but next time, call when the Website acts up!
