Can anyone help compare these two models? The price are all the same. I have not used neither of these two. Both have pros and cons. Sony has Dothan CPU, 7-8 hrs battery and better material and design, while Fujitsu has 3 yrs warranty (sony just one), SD-CF slot, 60GB HD (sony just 40), but only 4-5 hrs battery and can't have port replicator. Please help!!! Thanks.[?][?]

I think you can swap out the optical drive in Fujitsu and put additional battery in. If you don't like that idea, go with Sony's longer battery life -- you can always pay to extend your warranty later, but there is no way you can improve the battery life by yourself.

Some platinum credit cards have a one-year extension on laptop purchases, so you get two year warranty total. I know Sony card is one of them, but I am sure you can check your cards to see which one has this benefit.
