    Hard Drive Clicking

I just got a Sony TR3AP2 and every so often the hard drive makes a clicking noise. Sometimes it happens every couple of minutes or so. Mostly when it is on and not being used, it almost sounds like the Hard Drive is shutting down and than restarting. Similar to when you shut down the computer...

Does anyone else have this laptop that can tell me if this noise is normal.

    Thanks so much...

Some clicking is normal for any hard drive, however repeated clicking is generally a sign of bad things to come. They often click before they fail.
