I'm thinking about unlocking my TX650P to use with tmobile, but I had a question regarding what would happen to my calls while it was in my laptop. Are there any programs that would allow me to get these calls or at the very least text messages? If not do the calls simply wait until the sim card is re-insterted into a phone to give you any messages?

no way. it's only GPRS modem... it not support voice calling. I bought additional SIM with good price for GPRS traffic.

but you can can send/receive SMS.
