I know several TZ users use BPX-11. I just bought one from SonyStyle Online for 430NZD (about 300USD). I just could not find any cheaper prices!

Previously my TZ only had BPS (the smallest battery) lasting about 2hours+

(BTW, I see that the battery-statement about 'how many hours left' are actually quiet accurate..)

and when BPX is fully charged, it states 9hours+ ! (70% CPU + Wlan turned on, etc, but again this can be further tweaked to last longer or shorter, e.g., disabling services,)

Anyway,,, I really did not know this BPX-11 battery is HUGE... now, I can open the lid without grabbing the base chassie !

I now feel that TZ is not light anymore.... :( with its fat butt sticking out.

I will post some photos here later tonight or tomorrow. :)

ps: I remember Nanaki posted a link to Sony JP website showing different setups with the weights in KG. I just want to compare how heavy my laptop is as compare to the website's statement, so anyone know the link?, I will post my measurement later, too.

    Cheers.

I may just be weird, but I like my fat battery. I like that it raises the notebook, and I like that it gives me something extra to hold onto.

Another nifty thing that it lets me do is that I am able to sit on my couch with my legs up on the edge of the table and rest the battery just over the top of me knees without it falling. I can look like a spaz and use the notebook perfectly at the same time. :)

Also, is this the one: http://www.jp.sonystyle.com/Style-a/Special/T/Drive_sim/index.html

I am capped, so I did not wait for it to download.
