Hi guys, I was going to post yesterday, but I was busy configuring this laptop.

Anyway, I've added 5 pictures. Please note that the images are RAW, captured at 1 mega-pixel.
Sorry I could not be bothered to reduce the size.
Ive added some of my items just for the sake of size comparisons, :), It is really light and small.

I also want to tell all of you that, this color 'Gold' is rather, a light-gold color.
That is, unless you really look closely, under normal view, it look more like a silver-color.
Overall, I really like this color. :)

BTW: to all TZ owners from Conics, I am badly looking for a picture called 'au-day.jpg' which was supplied and defaulted background display for Vista. (the first time you turn on TZ and the paradise image you see)
I know this image is not from MS Vista, but definitely from a user-captured.
I unknowingly forgot to save this picture when I clean-installed....
If you have one, Can you please send to me..? I'm also waiting to hear from Brett..

    >>>>>EDIT: ok, page 2 has newer photos. So please check them out !!! Cheers <<<<<

Wait wait wait a minute. So your trying to tell me you have TZ + Smokes + Spliff. You must live in that mythical magic land they tell stories about in Irish mythology books. But then again my entire population has been drunk for a very long time so we thought they just dreamt it up when they were plastered. Say hello to the king of happy elephant people when you see him next. :D

Oh and enjoy your TZ. :)

I honestly think that photo and the place is really nice... It's like a heaven!.

The most amazing part is the river side, where people swim with palm tree near!.

How about during the day time? You could take some photos for me. :)

    http://images.google.com/images?svn...ox&rlz=1I7ADBF&q=South+Bank+of+Brisbane+River

I know it doesnt have density buildings like in japan or korea,
and I know it doesnt have much of natures like New Zealand here...

But, this combinations of City + Nature is simply a love!

well, Im just a bit tempted ! hehe, you are remainding me again that the grass is greener on the other side (or other country!)

    lol

It is a decent enough place to live. There are a lot of university students that live around the City area, and some nice clubs where they like to hang out. ;)

Look up a place called Cairns. That's where I grew up.

I thought it was going to be annoying to move my room mate's notebook from beside the plasma when I wanted to put something on the TV. But, the TZ can sit comfortably on his 15.4" keyboard.

Although, it does look... wrong. Something so sexy should not be subjected to sitting on a last gen. HP (the ones before the piano-type finish).

OK, This is my updated pictures. Please have a look and comment on this

Bottom: 19inch LG s900. My parent bought this from Korea (I asked them not to buy any more laptop! But korean laptops like Samsung and LG, Avertec are very cheap in Korea). This laptop spec is simply, one of the highest-benchmarked laptop you can get... Yes this laptop is a desktop replacement (e.g., has desktop 3.5" HDD !)

Middle: 15inch Samsung p30, bought this laptop back in 2003

    Top: Sony TZ (32GB+160GB)

Basically, I've stacked these 3 laptops just to compare and show the differences... I hope you guys can figure out !

    Nice pictures.

How weird does it feel using the 19" and then using the TZ?

I feel weird just going from a 15.4" to my TZ.

Phil you have good taste, not only in laptops but that book next to your laptop is a gem. I am reading it too at the moment, one of the best books I've read.

Thanks Synt, I like those kind of books.

2 more pics. Oh what a design, I am a little bit sad that it's leaving me. If only Sony would make a 13,3 inch TZ.

OK if Sony made a 13.3 inch - IN ADDITION! - machine along the TZ line technologically, but that screen size would DESTROY the whole footprint concept of the TZ, where size and weight are of UTMOST IMPORTANCE.

So hope Sony keeps on making new models with about the same weight and size as the present TZ models. For us frequent travellers these are key factors!

Nanaki, yeah it feels really weird, but I'd consider 19inch laptop keyboard is full-size (much more like a desktop-keyboard). But again, I will use this as a desktop replacement e.g., this won't be movable easily since it doesn't come with battery by default (you'd have to purchase separately and it will only last for 20min max!). I guess I need to get used to all sizes of keyboards!
For TZ, I can type about 70WPM, and dekstop keyboard, I can do about 80WPM.
