    I feel that it's important for me to insure my laptop as I love it so much. However, vaiocover which is run by compucover are ****! bad service! so I want to get it insured by somone else? anyone know any companies?

    LaptopGuard (laptopguard.co.uk) are always advertising to me because I insure my photo gear with their sister site, photoguard.co.uk.

    I chose PhotoGuard based on positive reviews from friends - they're not the cheapest but provide good cover - so I'm assuming they're also OK for laptops...
