Hi Everyone,
I am from Toronto, Canada and I just recently bought the TZ160C thinking it was the TZ90...I don't believe I even the TZ90 at the Sony store and I (mistakenly) thought I was buying the TZ90.
So I have a couple of questions: first off, how does the 160C compare to the 90? I find that my start up time is reaaaaaaaaaaaally long but I was hoping this could be fixed by upgrading my RAM to 2GB...and also I find that my computer is not "silent" and that it does get pretty warm...
Can someone please give me a comparison betwen the two TZs and also if anyone could tell me where I can purchase the TZ90 in Canada or perhaps in the US - detroit, michigan (actual store as opposed to a website) that would be faaantastic !![]()
merci beaaaucoup,
jd

Dont think about it. return the tz160. get the tz190. the difference is HUGE. I have the tz191 and its the fastest computer ive ever used. (of course I havent used any 2.4ghz with 3gb ram or something like that)
but it really is fast -
can i buy it at any sony store in the US?? i haven't seen any models available in Canada Sony stores.

Are you talking about the retail version TZ190/191 or the Japanese, customisable TZ90?
-
The TZ130 and TZ160 aren't sold in retail, nor at Sony. The TZ90 is a Japanese customizable model, I bet you meant the TZ190 as well?
-
yes i am actually talking about the TZ190 and the TZ160C is the one I just bought last week (mistakenly) at the Sony Store here in Toronto....but it's the TZ190 that I actually want.
On the Sony website, they are on backorder but I am wondering if retail Sony outlets in the US carry TZ190. can you help answer this?! thanks -
Retail SonyStyle in US carries TZ191
Sony TZ160C and Sony TZ90
