This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Since searching has been disabled I can't seem to find the thread that mentioned cheap warranties that you would activate on Sony's website. Does anyone remember the website? Thanks

    Ironically I have just found the website, its provantage.com

    They offter what seems to be many of the same warranties and its rather hard to tell them apart. Has anyone purchased one of these for an AW290? I'm curious to know which is the best deal/most compatible.
