Actually I've just got an idea, anyone know where one could get skins like the ones above? I'm from the UK so a UK website? is there such a thing even for a skin for a laptop?

No this is the old TZ. Type T is the name in Japan.

Like SZ was called Type S.

They sell these designs in Japan.

These are not skins, they are engraved into the lid and exclusive to Japan. There are skins available for the TZ though, at least I saw some on Ebay a while back.

And yes, the entire line-up in Japan is called the Type T series and is made up of the Vaio TR, T, TX and current TZ series. Just like the Type F series is made up of the FS, FE, FZ and now FW series.

Ahh, neat. :) I like the black floral one. The Japan market really attracts unique electronics.

I wish they'd do things like this in the US market. I'd love to have the Z with the gothic arabesque pattern!! But to pay a heck of a lot more $ to get the same setup otherwise, plus the international fee, plus shipping, plus giving up a warranty in the us, etc. etc. Not worth it to me. *sigh*

Your lucky in the US, in the UK we have very limited models and we have to be so patient before they even reach the uk.. We see and hear the Japanese go on about their new vaio's and then the Americans then after a few more months we finally get them in the UK lol.. I wonder why that is? Maybethe UK market is tiny..
