    Question....

    I will be receiving a TZ240N/b without any hard drives, i would like to order a SSD in advance. the bay has 3 I found with the built in ZIF (ZIF im assuming is what i require from my readings)

    To confirm before I purchase will the following work, if not please provide me some models that will, much appreciated:

    You are correct . The ones you listed are 40pin & you need the 44pin . The connector is correct except for the pin count .

    Hi there,

    Rachel suggested that I post into your thread, as I am having trouble with my TZ 11MN and a Kingspec 64gb SSD.

    Basically, the BIOS sees the SSD in POST, but Vista Recovery Disk does not see the disk to load onto. I have tried cloning using Acronis and a USB enclosure, but no luck. The drive is visible in USB enclosure.

    TZ Guru, I see that you maintain a 44 pin ZIF is required, I count only 40 pins on ribbon/OE HDD/SSD.
