    Hi,

    I have a Sony VAIO VGN-AR840E that came with Core2Duo T8100 2.1Ghz CPU.

I can get a C2D T8300 2.4Ghz for a reasonable price and just find the T8100 stails a bit when I'm doing high resolution picture editing.

    My questions:

    1. Can I upgrade the CPU to T8300 2.4Ghz with the original bios?
    2. Is there a BIOS update from the original bios?

    Cheerz :) :D ;)
