Can someone tell me if the US version of the Sony VAIO F Series Display is wide gamut? EU Sony says it's 100% Adobe RGB coverage. What is the US version?

Any one? Please...

To be quite frank, there has been a defeaning silence from Sony on this. In the EU, they have specifically mentioned the 'premium' matte Full-HD screen as covering 100% of the Adobe color gamut.
However, when it comes to the non-premium glossy Full-HD screen in the EU, they make no such reference to the width of the color gamut.
In the US, the "premium" full-HD screen is glossy, which leads me to think that it is the non-premium Full-HD screen of the EU, simply referred to as "premium" in the US to distinguish it from the non-HD screen.
I am interested in the answer to this question too.

I was just told by Sony second level support that the display is still being tested for the US. The tech said he found this info at their engineering site. I'm wondering how true this is and how long it takes to be tested?

I think it is a pile of BS.
These machines are being sold at the retail level, both via Sonystyle and also via external retailers like Bestbuy etc. I doubt Sony (or any major player for that matter), would put a component into their product, without clear engineering specifications behind it.
