Recently my friend slammed my old laptop of mine which is the

    Sony VAIO NS Series VGN-NS20J

It's a very old model but i have some things i wish to retreive from it and also repair the laptop

The DVD drive came out cos she slammed it so hard
and now it shows the SONY VAIO sign but it doesnt load the operating system
so sometimes it just a blank black screen and at some points it states

    OPERATING SYSTEM NOT FOUND

i was wondering if it was the hard-drive had been disconnected?
