    Sony VAIO Recovering Problem from another same model Recovery Disks

    Hi

    I have a laptop, Model Name: VPC EC2JFX/BI. I have a problem in recovering from another same model Recovery Disk.

    This is the story:
    1-I have a laptop, Model Name: VPC EC2JFX/BI. My Hard Disk crashed and I had to change it. As a result, I don't have the source of my "Windows" and "Laptop and Drivers"

    2-I asked one of Sony e-Support about recovering from another Recovery Disk which is made from same model. He told me I can do that. So I tried.

    3-I have another one of same laptop (Model Name: VPC EC2JFX/BI), so I created a Sony Recovery Disk from second laptop and tried to use it for the first one. In main menu of Sony Recovery Dis, I have 2 choices: “Restore C: Drive” and “Restore Complete System”. When I select “Restore C: Drive”, system shows me an error and tells me I should select “Restore Complete System” (I think the reason is Hard Disk changing), so I select “Restore Complete System”.

    4-When I start from “Restore Complete System”, recovering start but while Windows shows these message respectively: "Setup is starting the services", "Setup is installing the devices”, “Setup is applying system settings", suddenly this message is shown: ""Windows Setup could not configure Windows to run on this computer's hardware". When I click OK, system restart.

    5-When system restart, this message is shown: "Windows could not Complete the installation. To install Windows on this computer, restart the installation" and after restarting, again is shown

    I think it happen because of the Windows Product Key. I mean, although both of laptops are exactly same in model name, the Recovery Disk is belong of the second laptop and it has different Windows Key of first one. Is that true? If so can I change the Sony Recovery Disk Windows Key to my first laptop’s key? And this is not the reason, what can I do?

    Another reason may be Hard Disk changing but its not reasonable! Anyway, please help me! I now VPC EC2JFX/BI is out of the warranty, but I really need help. How can I use this Recovery Disk to restore my system? Your college told me I can use that. Please help me. :-(
