So I am thinking of buying a slim ight weight, portable but decently powerful laptop which includes hdmi, 2 or more USBs and cd/dvd drive atleast.

I found this laptop and please look at link
    13.3" Core i7 Laptop | VAIO S Series 13.3" Laptop | VPCSA3BGX/SI | Sony USA

It says it has Radeon HD 6630 graphics which I experienced before in a HP envy 14 and it can play good amount of games such as Need for speed and Starcraft 2. I want to know is there anyone in the community who has this particular laptop and if they, or anyone who has experience with this laptop, can tell me how the gaming performance and experience is on this particular laptop please. It will mostly be used for college work and at home stuff and watching videos. But if I get bored I want to know if it can handle games like SC2 well.

Also I am a beginner to SONY laptops so if there is anything I should know about this laptop please tell Such as texture good or not, or touchpad is hard feel or not good, stuff like that.

Thank you all for your help.

You can try the owner's thread.

However, in terms of SC2, it handles 3vAI (hard), 1v1, and some custom games very well (at a mix of low-mid-high settings - the lows being anything CPU related, mids being shaders/effects, high being textures).

Touchpad - soso. It has a fingerprint reader, which is nice (but also soso). Texture - great feel! I have had some paint wear on my Silver, but I'm sure it's actually a defect (since I have not seen ONE other report of a Vaio SA/SB/SC wearing...).

    Have fun!

i play Battlefield 3 on my VAIO SA. i have oveclocked the GPU, increasing its performance about 25%. it handles BF3 smoothly at 1366x768 with a mix of MEDIUM and HIGH settings, MSAA off, FXAA on, and with HBAO. i get around 45 fps, sometimes dipping to 35+. 6630m is a powerful GPU with great overclocking headroom.

if you want to play BF3 though, make sure you get a notebook cooler; i suggest NotePal U2 with moveable fans, which i have placed directly under the laptop's air-intake grills. my max gaming temperatures are 85C.

Noise? Since the last few BIOS revisions, no. It has (I counted) 11 fan speed steppings. Previously, it only had 3-4. Also, the SA fan, in my experience, makes less noise under load than it's lower powered Vaio SC bretheren.

As for how much heat? Well, unless if you get a good SSD, the right palmrest may be a fair bit warmer than the left. Disconcertingly so the first few days, however, it's easy to get used to. Same follows for the underside of the laptop. Reason is, the main bits of the laptop are on the right side, while the optical drive + battery fills up almost all of the left side (both not "hot running" parts in any sense of the term).

    Have fun!

    The VPCSA3... /SI

shows that the color is Silver.

And also, to give some feedback about the fans, they are a bit loud, as they do really sound like airplanes taking off.

Starts with a slight whir, and then climbs up in both pitch and amp.

You wouldn't want to use this in a classroom, library, etc. as these can be pretty loud.

    Hi everybody,
I looking for a motherboard to my notebook VCP-SA3BGX. I sent to repair and the techinical "lost" the label.
I would like to verify the number, this label is on the connector of memory.
    Could anybody to look that?
