    Hi ya.

I apologize because I think this question has already been asked a couple times, but now I can't seem to find a related post. So...

Does anybody have an idea of when the S13 "spring refresh" will hit the states? I've been ready to pull the trigger for a month now, but I'd like the refresh. I know it's not that big of a difference, but it's still a slight bump.

It seems like it has already come out almost a month ago in most countries except for the states. I'm not sure why we are lagging behind so much. I also can't find any updates to the timeline or release online.

It's time for me to replace my 2.5 year old VAIO S13 model and unfortunately I just can't wait until June/July for Haswell. I'll be heading overseas in about 4 more weeks for the remainder of the year, so I really hope to order (and receive) this laptop before I depart.

    Thanks!

Why not consider getting a cheap budget laptop first just to tide over this period until June when Haswell comes out because honestly speaking, the current refresh is just a pathetic 3.0ghz processor and Hybrid Hdd, that's all. Just use a budget laptop for the time-being and get a new Vaio when Haswell comes out. Definitely better specs and a whole new design. Who knows, we may even see a new "Z" Series.

    Agree with that.
I not know your current laptop, but if you not have SSD, you could consider this upgrade (and use your old harddisk as external mobile hdd -> needs casing).
It's installation is easy to do.
And if you do that, I would suggest a clean Windows installation too instead cloning your harddisk to SSD.

This already will give big performance gain.
