Did somebody manage to put Vaio S2 FN keys working in Vista?

Once I got almost everything working except Volume Up/Down. I could see the volume change in the screen, but windows volume didn't change. All the other times I couldn't get anything to work. Please help me. :(

Which model are you talking about. I've FZ190, but I don't see a key labeled "S2".

I'm talking about Vaio S2 series, before S3 or S4.

The following software works for SZ:

    For S1/S2 Buttons:
    • Vaio Control Center
    • SettingUtilitySeries

If you look up the excellent guide by Mobilehavoc "Installing Vista clean on my SZ-330/B" you will find the ftp references for SZ.

You may just give those a shot if Sony has not posted any equivalent utilities for the S2 that you are having problems with.

    Regards
    Nickolai

Thanks for your reply first of all!

I've seen that thread and it didn't solve my problem. :(

I was hoping to find someone with a Vaio S2 that sucessfully managed to get FN keys working.
