    Hi,

I am restoring my laptop back to it's original settings and i keep getting this message :

    "VAIOModRecv has stopped working"

    Then a message appears:

"Windows could not parse or process unattend answer file C://Windows/panther/unattend.xml for pass [auditUser]. The settings specified in the answer file cannot be applied. The error was detected while processing settings for component [Microsoft-Windows-Deployment]

I have checked the computer and the hard disk, they are both error free and running perfectly.

I have got the default values for the BIOS and still getting the same messages upon system restore.

So when I turn the computer off and back on again, a message appears:

    "InstallWindows
Windows could not complete the installation. To install Windows on this computer, restart the installation."

Please help me, its driving me craaazy!!!!!!!!!

    P.s. I'm using a sony vaio i3 windows 7 laptop

    Cheers,
    Robert
