What do you think of this new UMPC? How practical do you think the concept is? Can it replace the Vaio TX for websurfing and light word documents? Who will the primary buyers be? I think this is a very cool looking communication device. The 4.5 inch screen does, however, give me slight pause.

In any case the Samsung Q1, OQO, abd all the other UMPC's will be facing very tough competition.

sweet but expensive. And sony upgrades their line way to often for me to even consider getting one if its only gonna last 6months before its replaced.

hmm, if it was about $1k I would buy one. As it is the sz laptop is $2.3k so having something that does less and still costing almost $2k isn't worth it.

If it were cheap and had EV-DO from Verizon, it would free up my next notebook from having a PCMCIA slot.

I read it has a 7 inch screen, not 4.5 inch.
