My VGN-S580 came with the software VAIO Update, which is supposed to notify the user of the latest updates. The idea is ok but it doesn't work. I updated the IntelĀ® PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection Driver twice but it still stays in the system tray and says that I should update the driver. Is this the way it is? I mean, when a windows update is there, it notifies you from the system tray, and when the update is complete, the tray icon disappears. Is there a problem with VAIO update?

,and turning the system tray icon off is ok. It works in the background.
