i just formatted the VGN-CR353 laptop few days ago and i'm still trying to reinstall all the original VAIO softwares which i downloaded from the sony official website because i had lost the recovery disc somewhere else. For now, i still cannot find any "instant mode" application for it to fix up some buttons....pretty upset for this...

Do i really need the recovery disc to install all the drivers needed? any help or any one can upload the recovery disc for me. Thanks.

Having a similar problem to you. we bought a brand new Sony Vaio VGN-CR353 from Kuala Lumpur. About a month after we bought it, it crashed and would no longer load windows. We had to restore the laptop to factory settings but after we did this, it lost all the sony vaio settings and software. I didn't get change to make a recovery disc and i am unable to find one anywhere. Sony asia will not send me one as they are not allowed. They wouldn't even send it to Sony europe for them to fix. I've downloaded some drivers from sony asia website but they don't have all of them. i need a recovery disc to fix it!

If anyone has a recovery disc for VGN-CR353 i would really appreciate a copy!!!!
