    Hey everyone!

I've been browsing this forum for quite a long time (without an account, since I don't usually get the urge to post anything) and since I have a confusing problem with my laptop, I decided to ask for some help :D .

As the title suggests, I have a Sony VAIO VGN-FZ21Z with Windows 7 Ultimate Version 6.1. Just to let you know, it came with Windows Vista Home Premium when I bought it.

Anyway, the problem is my laptop is unable to play any game or movie, even though it has 2x NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS GPU.
Example number 1: I launch "Spider Solitaire", a message comes up saying: "Hardware accelaration is either disabled or not supported by your video card..." and the game is slower than my grandma browsing her mail.

Example number 2: As an astounding young lad ;), I want to play Warcraft III with my buddies. I install Reign of Chaos first and guess what; it won't start. So, I visit this website called "Can You RUN it", or something like that and everything's fine, except the fact that my laptop has 0.0 B Video RAM. Now, here's the deal, there's a sticker on it saying "2 GB/Go DDR2 SDRAM".

I don't get it, what seems to be the solution to this problem my fellow forumers?

It should have 256 MB of VRAM. Are all the correct drivers installed? Maybe the GPU has failed?

I've used both DriverAgent and Driver Detective and it seems to me the drivers for the GPU are good. Should I download them anyway? If yes, could you (or anyone else) recommend me a good site to download them? (I can't find anything at NVIDIA's page)
Finally, how can I see if my GPU has failed or not?

You can get the Nvidia driver from the guide in my signature.

Can you see the GPU in the Windows device manager?
