    Hi to all.

I've planned lately to buy this notebook. I did some exploring on the internet, checked some users reviews etc...

    Here is configuration:
    Intel Mobile P55 (MP55) Chipset
    Intel CoreĀ™ i3 - 330M 2.13 Ghz
    4GB installed DDR3/1066 RAM
    500GB Serial ATA
    nVIDIA GeForce 310M
Intel HD Audio or Realtek High Definition Audio (not sure)
    Marvell Yukon 88E8057 PCI-E / Atheros AR9285 WLAN

    So I have 2 questions.

    1. I saw some comments about overheating problem with this model. Some BIOS bug. Also I found BIOS update firmware on Sony's site which solves this problem. But also some users experienced problem with fan which runs constantly after this update. Did somebody knows anything about this?

    2. I want to install some Linux on it. Let say Ubuntu, as the only OS. I search for hw support. Found some WLAN and graphics issues, but nothing particular. And as in previous, any advice, experience with Ubuntu is very helpful.

If anyone has this notebook, I would be glad to hear some opinions from first hand.

    Thanks in advance!
