    Hi,

I have a Sony VAIO VPCZ1. Yesterday I stopped some services on my VAIO. Now every time I started my laptop I get the following:

The application was unable to complete an operation.

System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0X80070842): The Server service is not started.

I have put back all the services which I changed yesterday but I still get this error

I also checked the Window Event Viewer but there is no error there.

Can someone help me with this please?

Or can someone give me their Services so that I can check against mine and see where the problem is?

    Many Thanks

    Hi,

It seems the problem was from VAIO messenger.

Every time I click on it I got the same error.

I uninstalled Oasis2service and VAIO messenger.

    So far no errors.

I tried to reinstall the messenger but got the same error.

Any idea how I can fix it?

Am I missing anything by not having VAIO messenger?

    Thanks

    Sepy
