about the new vaio z that you can connect external graphic card. is it possible to connect other external cards to? or must i buy the one that "sony approved"

i would like to upgrade the graphic card in 1 year or so and it would be nice to have other options, since sony is really slow when it comes to "new" stuff for their laptops.

As of today, nope. I doubt it would be made available since the Z is a product of a very small niche already. People demanding a better card within that niche will be an even smaller group of people, so don't really expect another solution from 3rd parties.
